Currently communication between different nationalities requires English. Therefore a level of English language proficiency is required to excel in almost all fields of academic and professional life.
BETS offers a range of language proficiency and communication courses at different times of the day, all of which are taught by qualified professionals. With the emphasis on communication, lessons are designed to be stimulating, interactive, and enjoyable.
IELTS Preparation
IELTS Preparation classes are offered to students planning to appear in the IELTS test, designed by University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate. In Pakistan it is organised by the British Council and the Austalian Education Office. There are 2 types of test, Academic and General. Both consist of listening, reading, writing & speaking modules. Passing IELTS with a good band is compulsory for admission in most foreign educational institutions and for emigration to English speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
Our two-month preparation classes concentrate on developing skills to the requirements of the test. We offer 16 hours of learning per week and conduct weekly full-length practice IELTS tests.
Choose from morning, afternoon, or evening sessions to suit your schedule. We also have sessions for working professionals. BETS has a highly qualified and skilled faculty who provide individual support to students as and when required.
IELTS Introductory ClassBefore beginning regular classes, IELTS students must take an introductory class held Saturdays & Mondays at 3:15 PM.

CONVERSATION
Our conversation class provides an excellent opportunity for students aspiring to acquire fluency in spoken English. We focus on removing reluctance, and cultivating confidence through 12 hours per week of comprehensive training and practice in an excellent classroom atmosphere.

ESOL
ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is the most
modern English language course available to speakers of other
languages. BETS is proud to be the first to deliver and develop
the ESOL course in Pakistan. The course is offered at 2 levels:
ENTRY 1 (BASIC) ENTRY 2 (INTERMEDIATE)
Each level of the ESOL course comprises 12 hours per week of extensive learning,
wide-ranging activities and comprehensive guidance to develop English language skills.

INTERACTIVE ENGLISH (New Muslim Town campus only)
Interactive English is for professionals who want to attain proficiency in English. The course is a blend of all language skills, with special emphasis upon improving spoken English through eliminating hesitation and developing confidence through 8 hours per week of comprehensive training and practice. We have wide-ranging activities aimed at enhancing spoken English (improving quality & fluency), vocabulary building, report writing, advanced grammar, situational & business English, presentation skills, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, and business communication.

Admission procedure for English & IELTS classes
Students are offered admission after an assessment, held Monday to Saturday at 10.00 AM, 2.00 PM, & 4.00 PM (Only 1 test on Fridays at 12.00pm). The assessment includes an interview to help gauge ability.
