Edexcel Diplomas

For those who have completed their matriculation or ‘O’ levels and who wish to do something different, we offer: a One-year BTEC National Diploma in Fashion providing learners with a solid foundation in the skills and knowledge required to progress in the fields of art, fashion and design.

For those who have done their F.A/FSc /‘A’ levels or a National Diploma:

A One-year BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Fashion & Textile, providing learners with the practical skills needed to develop in their chosen field, learning through both activities and lectures as well as hands-on practical experience with designers. The HNC allows a full one year credit exemption from further studies in universities abroad as well as allowing learners to progress onto the HND (below).

A Two-year BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Fashion & Textile, providing learners with an in-depth working knowledge and the practical skills needed to succeed and shine in their chosen field. The HND also provides study credit exemption and covers various aspects of Fashion & Design and the final semester leads to the annual Graduation Fashion Show. Students can obtain internships with designers as well as work placements in industry to gain priceless experience & exposure in their chosen profession.

FASHION DRAWING

Learn to transfer the human body into fashion drawing and fashion drawing into iIIustrated figures according to relevant movement composition and colour.
Duration : 4 months

TEXTILE TECHNIQUES

Learn how to develop various fabrics through different techniques including Tie & Dye, Marbling and Stenciling. Create your own personal fabric using modern methods.
Duration : 4 months

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN PATTERN

Learn different techniques to construct various pattern blocks, dart and pattern manipulations & to work on a variety of design lines in a professional manner. You will learn the basic skills required to progress on to creating patterns from your own and other’s working drawings.
Duration : 4 months

DRAWING TECHNIQUES & APPROACHES

The course enables you to experiment with drawing approaches and techniques in order to broaden your experience and understanding. You will use materials & media which are specific to art, craft and design as well as unusual materials & media to extend visual language and creativity.
